Route Introduction
- Sanqing Mountain in Yushan County, Shangrao, whose main peak Yujing rises about 1,820 meters, is celebrated for granite peak forests and Daoist heritage.
- The classic route starts with the Jinsha cable car, then passes the Python Emerging from the Mountain rock and the Goddess Peak on the way to Yujing — about 12 kilometers with a gain of roughly 800 meters excluding the cable car.
- Odd peaks, strange boulders, cloud-sea sunrises and ancient pines set each other off, while Daoist relics like Sanqing Palace dot the slopes.
- Boardwalks and steps are well built and the effort moderate; two days allow a deeper tour.
