Confucius Temple & Qinhuai River Guide

Real coordinates · smooth curved route
Centered on the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Temple–Qinhuai River Scenic Area was the cultural and commercial heart of Jiangnan from the Six Dynasties through the Ming and Qing eras. Confucian landmarks such as Lingxing Gate and Dacheng Hall stand alongside the Jiangnan Examination Hall, Wuyi Lane and Meixiang Tower, while painted boats glide along the river after dark. Visit in the afternoon: tour the temple and the China Keju Museum by day, take a night cruise at dusk, then finish with Qinhuai snacks such as duck-blood vermicelli soup and salted duck — a round trip of about three to four hours.
