Suzhou Tiger Hill Guide

Real coordinates · smooth curved route
Tiger Hill, at the western end of Shantang Street northwest of Suzhou's old town, is the legendary burial site of King Helü of the Spring and Autumn state of Wu and has long been hailed as "the finest scenic spot in the Wu region." Su Dongpo, the great Song-dynasty poet, declared that "to visit Suzhou without seeing Tiger Hill is a true regret." Low in height yet rich in beauty, the hill gathers ancient relics: the millennium-old leaning pagoda, the mysterious Sword Pool, and the storied Thousand-Man Rock and Sword-Testing Stone make it an unmissable stop on any journey through Suzhou.
