⚠️ Pitfall Tips
Save money, time & hassle
Tickets & Entry Limits
Peak-season admission plus shuttle runs about ¥280–310. Reserve on the official platform with real-name registration and a timed entry slot — book days ahead in high season.
Altitude Sickness
The park tops out around 3,100 m; most visitors are fine, but do not sprint, keep an oxygen canister handy, and sleep well the night before.
Weather & Gear
Mountain weather changes by the hour and nights are cold even in summer — always pack a jacket, plus a raincoat in the rainy season; boardwalks get slippery.
Last Shuttle Back
The last shuttle back runs around 5–6 p.m.; do not lose track of time at the far end of the valley.
Respect Local Customs
Do not photograph prayer flags, stupas, or religious sites without permission, and turn prayer wheels clockwise.
