- First walk the Yunlong Ground Fissure's plank road beneath its plunging waterfalls, then climb to the Qixing Village cliff gallery past the One Pillar of Incense rock column to the Welcome Pine lookout — about 10 km of walking with 500 m of ascent in total.
- The fissure runs deep and dark, the cliffs fall sheer, the pillar stands 100 metres alone, and cloud seas drift through the gorge with great drama.
- Railings along the cliff walkways are solid, but the stairs number in the thousands; take the cable car up to save your knees and legs.
