Qingliang Peak

Route Introduction

  • Qingliang Peak, at about 1,787 meters, is the highest summit in western Zhejiang, straddling Lin'an and Shexian, Anhui.
  • The classic route starts from Longtangshan in Lin'an or Yinlongwu in Anhui, climbing through primeval forest and alpine meadows to the top — roughly 12 kilometers with a gain of about 1,300 meters.
  • The summit offers sweeping views, with occasional cloud seas and even Buddha's-light halos, and wild sika deer roam the reserve.
  • Much of the trail runs through uninhabited terrain, so carry camping gear and full supplies; experienced groups should allow two days.
