The main temples cluster around Taihuai Town: Wuye Temple draws the most pilgrims, Tayuan Temple is marked by the Great White Pagoda, Xiantong Temple is the founding monastery, and Pusading leads the Tibetan Gelug monasteries. A classic one-day route starts at Taihuai and visits Wuye, Tayuan, Xiantong and Pusading in turn; those with energy left may climb Dailuoding for the 'mini pilgrimage'.
