Jiuzhaigou spreads in a Y shape: from the entrance up Shuzheng Valley to the Norilang junction, the right arm (Rize Valley) holds the finest lakes up to Primeval Forest, while the left arm (Zechawa Valley) reaches Long Lake and the Five-Colored Pond. Covering about 98 km, visitors ride the scenic shuttle between stops and walk the boardwalk trails between sights.
