Real coordinates · smooth curved route
Located in Lintong District, Xi'an, this museum sits on the original pits of the Terracotta Army, discovered in 1974 and hailed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Pit No.1 holds the largest array of chariots and infantry; Pit No.2 shows a complex multi-arms battle formation; Pit No.3 is the command headquarters. The Bronze Chariots gallery and the mausoleum mound complete the visit. Thousands of life-size warriors, each with a unique face, stand in silent battle order; allow about 3 hours.
