Yunlong Lake is Xuzhou's largest urban lake and a national 5A scenic area in the southwest of the city, embraced on three sides by hills—Yunlong Mountain to the east and Han Mountain to the north. In 2005 it became the twin lake of Hangzhou's West Lake, earning the nickname "Xuzhou West Lake". The area unfolds around the water: Huzhong Road splits the lake into east and west halves, Binhu Park and a lakeside trail circle the shore, Jinshan Tower and Hefeng Island dot the blue water, while Yunlong Mountain on the east bank offers a panoramic summit view. A half day is enough: stroll along the lake, climb the mountain for the panorama, visit the Han Stone Relief Museum on the way, and end with the concert hall's night views.
